Final Broadcast Ratings: April 27, 2016

FOX takes the Wednesday night ratings, posting relatively huge demographic numbers, compared to its competition. FOX beat CBS, ABC and NBC, by an average of about 1.5 points. EMPIRE continues to be a young viewer drew, posting mid to high threes in the A18-34 and A18-49 demos. However, this is the first time this spring that EMPIRE improved its ratings, week-to-week.

CBS edged out ABC for the second spot, with each network posting identical ratings in both the A18-34 and A18-49 demos. SURVIVOR, the #2 show of the evening, seeing week-to-week growth in viewers, the A25-54 demo and the A18-49 demo. ABC was in encores last week, but three of the four sitcoms were back in originals. Each of the three comedies were down from their last original episodes.

The CW topped NBC in the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics. NBC's HEARTBEAT was fifth in its time slot, but was up week-to-week, in all four categories.
