Final Broadcast Ratings: February 8, 2016

CASTLE returned to the ABC lineup, on Monday night, to less than stellar numbers. The winter premiere drew just 5.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49. It was last in its 10 PM time slot and the second worst numbers of the night, from the Big 4 networks. Only TELENOVELA did worse numbers. Compared to its fall finale, in November, CASTLE is down one million viewers, but flat in the key demographics. THE BACHELOR was up week-to-week, except in the A18-34 demo.

FOX edged out ABC for the nightly win, despite THE X-FILES dropping numbers from last week. THE X-FILES and THE BACHELOR were in a virtual tie at 8 PM, with only 300,00 difference in total viewers and posting the same A18-49 rating (2.5). LUCIFER continues to do relatively decent retention numbers, keeping FOX competitive at 9 PM.

CBS was a competitive third place, winning the night in viewership and second in the A25-54 demographic. NCIS: LA win its 10 PM time slot, easily topping both CASTLE and THE BIGGEST LOSER.

NBC was a distant fourth place, with only SUPERSTORE posting decent, but still fourth place, ratings.
