Preliminary Ratings: Monday 11/30/2015

ABC took a solid second place on Monday night, thanks to the classic holiday special, A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, plus its 50th anniversary special and a new cooking competition series. The night lead off with IT'S YOUR 50TH CHRISTMAS CHARLIE BROWN, a retrospective, musical look at the classic holiday special. It beat SUPERGIRL and GOTHAM for second place in the 8 p.m. hour, down just a little from last week's DWTS final Monday night. The actual classic A CHARLIE BORWN CHRISTMAS built on its lead in to place second in the 9 p.m. hour. it is down slightly from its 2014 airing, which posted a 2.1 rating in the A18-49 demo, but up in viewership from last year's 6.8 million. The new holiday series, THE GREAT HOLIDAY BAKING SHOW dropped 40% of its lead in, but still managed to place second in the final hour of primetime. The 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49 is better than last week's CASTLE fall finale, which posted just a 1.1 rating in the demo.

NBC had an easy time winning the night, with THE VOICE nearing its fall season run. The two hour episode collected over 13 million viewers and averaged a 3.0 in the A18-49 demo. That is up from last week's 2.6 demo rating and 10.3 million viewers. After THE VOICE, NBC gave us the back-to-back premiere of the new comedy, SUPERSTORE. The 10 p.m. episode lost 40% of its lead in, with just 8 million viewers, but the second episode lost about 25% from the first episode. The 2.1 demo rating average is just 70% retention from THE VOICE lead in.

FOX closed out its two dramas. GOTHAM's fall finale was up over last week's ratings, posting a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49, tying SUPERGIRL for 3rd place. MINORITY REPORT ended its run, with its first two million + viewership night since October 12th. It is officially the #3 series axed, after WICKED CITY (ABC) and THE PLAYER (NBC).

CBS only had SUPERGIRL in originals, with the rest of the night in encores. The numbers were up from last week, but still only managed a third place showing.

The fall finale of CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND was a little better than average, in the ratings, posting 1.1 million viewers.
