  • Kevin Bacon signs on for reboot
  • ABC Family winter premiere dates

TREMORS reboot in production:
After five movies, four strait to video, and a 2003 TV series, the sci-fi classic TREMORS is getting the reboot treatment. Attached to reprise his role, from the original 1990 movie, will be Kevin Bacon. No network or timetable is attached to the project, yet.



ABC Family announces winter premieres:
Six winter premieres are scheduled between January 12 and February 3, for ABC Family/Freeform cable network. The premieres include two new series and for returning series.

Jan 12 (8PM) - Pretty Little Liars
Jan 12 (9PM) - Shadowhunters (new series)

Jan 25 (8PM) - The Fosters
Jan 25 (9PM) - Recovery (new series)

Feb 3 (8PM) - Young & Hungry
Feb 3 (8:30) - Baby Daddy



HBO sets SESAME STREET debut:
The first new episode of SESAME STREET on HBO is set to premiere on January 16, at 9 a.m., with back-to-back episodes. There after only one new episode will air each Saturday, followed by an encore episode. PBS will get the new episodes, beginning in September, 2016.



More FARGO:
FX has ordered a third season of the series FARGO for 2016.



More HEY ARNOLD:
HEY ARNOLD, the 1990's Nickelodeon animated series, is coming back in the form of a TV Movie. The plot of the movie will pick up shortly after where the series had ended, in 2004.



CBS All Access adds another platform:
You can now watch CBS All Access streaming via Amazon's Fire TV.



More GIRL MEETS WORLD:
Disney has given the greenlight to a third season of GILR MEETS WORLD.
