Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 04/28/15

CBS had a clean sweep in the Tuesday night ratings, winning each of the three reported categories. The network won every hour in total viewers and in the A25-54 demo, and from 9 to 11 p.m., in the A18-49 ratings. NCIS and PERSON OF INTEREST were each down, from their last original episodes, but were still enough to push CBS for the nightly win.

THE VOICE posted its weakest night of the season, drawing under 10 million viewers and just a 2.1 rating in the A18-49 demographic. The weak lead in lead to a all around weak night for NBC. It finished third in total viewers, and barely edged ABC for second, in the A18-49 demo.

ABC had a nice bounce in the ratings, with DANCING WITH THE STARS vastly improving the ratings over last week's sitcoms. DWTS improved the 8 p.m. hour by 130% in viewership and 31% in the A18-49 demographic. It will be interesting to see if ABC returns to a second night of DWTS, come this fall.

The CW topped FOX in the ratings, with THE FLASH demolishing HELL'S KITCHEN, head-to-head. The CW action series also out performed AGENTS OF SHIELD in the A18-49 ratings. FOX Wednesday nights need a total revamping.
