Late Night Ratings: March 2 - 27, 2015

After three full months of encores and guest hosts, the LATE LATE SHOW WUTH JAMES CORDEN finally premiered on March 26th. The premiere week did very well, pulling in some of the best numbers, for the time slot. With 1.5 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49, THE LATE LATE SHOW beat LATE NIGHT in the ratings. JAMES CORDEN seems to be stepping it up as he also is producing a tangible buzz with clips on YouTube. Just about every episode of the premiere week had a clip that produces viewers, with the Tom Hanks skit grabbing over 12 million, to date.

THE TONIGHT SHOW shows just how dominate it is in the ratings, while it was in a week of encores. The week of March 9th, THE TONIGHT SHOW topped both CBS and ABC, which had original episodes. The winning margin was not large for NBC, but to win with encores, is still very sweet.

CONAN had a great first week of March, which included his Cuba based shows. Thje TBS talker came close to averaging one million viewers for the week and the opening night of Cuba getting 1.3 million, plus about 700k more in encore airings.
