CW Weekly Ratings: April 20 - 24, 2015

The CW had some good and some, not so good, this past week. On the positive, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are performing relatively solid numbers. They represent nearly two thirds of the young demographic viewers the network attracts each week, yet make up a little more than a third of the programming.

Thursdays have fallen below Monday nights, as THE VAMPIRE DIARIES are showing their age and REIGN tanks in the ratings. It may be time to double up the two vampire series, on the same night, and dispose REIGN as quick as possible.

Friday nights are looking like the old CW, with almost no viewership, but spring preemptions by local baseball/basketball coverage is taking its toll on the night. It is hard to judge just how much potential CEDRIC'S BARBER BATTLE and THE MESSENGERS really have.

For the week, The CW averaged 1.50 and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. Viewership is down about 10% from last week, while the A18-49 ratings held steady.
