CW Weekly Ratings: April 13 - 17, 2015

For the first time, in quite a while, The CW aired a full ten hours of original programming, in the same week. Two new series were part of the all-original week, complementing an all new-Friday night. CEDRIC'S BARBER BATTLE got off to a slow start, pulling the networks worst numbers of the week. The reality series drew less than 800,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in the A18-49 rating. We'll see how quick the series gets pulled, if the numbers don't improve, and get worse.

Starting of better was THE MESSENGERS. It brought in the most viewers on the night, with 1.2 million. The A18-49 rating was just a 0.3 rating, but that can happen on a Friday night. THE MESSENGERS did draw more viewers than three established series. The key for this series may be the L+3 or the L+7 ratings.

REIGN was, once again, the lowest rated show of the network. It tied THE ORIGINALS in total viewers, but had a worse demo rating than the Monday night series. This has to be the leading candidate to be cancelled by The CW.

For the week, the CW averaged 1.63 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The network is starting to see local preemptions, with baseball back, which will affect the weekly averages.
