WALKING DEAD cast member joining crime drama spin-off:
Tyler James Williams, one of the newest cast members of THE WLAKING DEAD, as been added to the cast of the new CRIMINAL MINDS spin-off. Look for the back-door pilot to air on CRIMINAL MINDS, February 18th.



Guess WHO is joining JESSICA JONES?:
British actor David Tennant (DR. WHO) is joining the cast of Netflix's Marvel series JESSICA JONES. He will play the villain Killgrave, during the season.



Another series reboot:
The latest to get a possible reboot is the 70's sitcom, ONE DAY AT A TIME. Series creator Norman Lear is in talks to revive the comedy, but this time it would feature a latino cast. Lear is also looking into a remake of ALL IN THE FAMILY, but that is still far off.



AOL joined Morning News competition:
AOL launched the Morning News program RISE, airing from 6 to 9 a.m., live every morning. Each hour, on the hour, a 90 second clip will update mobile viewers the latest news and info.



WGN sets SALEM season premiere date:
The WGN America series SALEM, will begin its second season on April 5, 2015.



HBO renews freshman comedy:
The comedy TOGETHERNESS has been given a second season order, by HBO. the season will premiere in 2016.



Streaming device ownership to hit 40%:
According to the NPD Group research, 40% of US broadband homes will own a streaming device, within the next two years. Those devices are like the Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire Player and Chromecast. [LINK]
