Primetime Cable Ratings: November 24, 2014

The news network took most of the spots on Monday night's cable chart, as eight of the top 15 spots are occupied by either CNN or FOX News. THE KELLY FILE was the top news program, getting 7.3 million viewers from roughly 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. She topped ANDERSON COOPER 360, head to head, by more than a million viewers. However, CNN did have a better A18-49 demographic rating, topping FOX my a full point.

ESPN posted a season low for MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, getting just 10.9 million viewers and a 3.8 demo rating. Not only was the Ferguson news events hitting hard, but it was also competing with the postponed NFL game of Buffalo and New York Jets, on local CBS affiliates, in New York State. It is too bad for ESPN as it was one of the few games that was close through most of the evening.
