Late Night Ratings: Sept. 22 - Oct. 17, 2014

THE TONIGHT SHOW posted back-to-back four week lows, in total viewers, to kick off the first month of the 2014-15 TV season. At the same time, THE LATE SHOW posted a four week high, for the week of Oct. 6th, closing the gap between the two major forced in late night talk. But, THE TONIGHT SHOW still has a comfortable one million viewer lead over THE LATE SHOW.

Kimmel, like Fallon, posted back-to-back four week lows, letting Letterman pass by the ABC talker.  Kimmel still has the better four week average, in the A18-49 ratings, over the CBS show.

The after midnight shows still look relatively the same, with NBC's LATE NIGHT enjoying a slight edge over the LATE LATE SHOW. Both talkers still draw less viewers than NIGHTLINE, over the four week averages.
