CW Weekly Ratings: October 20 - 24, 2014

The final series of the fall CW schedule premiered on Wednesday night, as THE 100 brings in just 1.5 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating. That is on par with the first season finale, which aired this past June. but compared to the series premiere, in mid-March, viewership is down by 1.2 million viewers and the demo rating was off by 45%. Can THE 100 rebound in the ratings, over the next few weeks?

REIGN is showing some life as the series has saw in increase in either viewership or demo rating, each and every week. This week, it made its first assent in the demo ratings, hauling in a 0.5 mark. Currently, REIGN, THE 100 and JANE THE VIRGIN are the three weakest scripted programs on the network, and JANE has already been picked up for the back nine episodes (full season).

For the week, the CW averaged 1.72 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down about 19% in viewers and one tenth of a point, in the demo ratings. If Friday night, at 9 p.m. could be fixed, the CW would have an all-round, solid foundation to begin rebuilding the network.
