Final Broadcast Ratings: August 25, 2014

The EMMY AWARDS dominated the Monday night ratings, scoring over 15.6 million viewers and a 4.2 rating in Adults 18-49. It more than doubled MASTERCHEF in the demo ratings and drew nearly three times the viewers of the hit cooking series.

Compared to recent years, the Emmys are down over two million viewers and 14% in the demo, from last year. But, compared to 2012, viewership is up 2.4 million and the demo rose 8%. Both previous years, the show aired in Mid-September.

Most of the other programs of the night seemed to have little or no effect with the Emmy Awards in the mix. MASTERCHEF was down a little in viewership, but the demo ratings held 100% of last week's rating. A repeat of MIKE AND MOLLY rose in both viewers and demo ratings. And, MISTRESSES was up in the A18-49 numbers.

CBS - 5.0 million viewers, 1.1 rating in A18-49
CW - 1.1 million viewers, 0.4 rating in A18-49
FOX - 4.6 million viewers, 1.8 rating in A18-49
NBC - 15.6 million viewers, 4.2 rating in A18-49
