Final Broadcast Ratings: August 22, 2014

It was all CBS on Friday night, as the network posted an easy sweep of the night with preseason coverage of the NFL. The Friday night game was the most watched program of the night, with just 5.5 million viewers, and was the #1 show in the A18-49 ratings.

DATELINE was the only show that had a chance to give footaball a run for its money, as the two hour newsmagazine was just 170,000 behind the game. The numbers were falt, week-to-week for DATELINE.

A half hour edition of MASTERS OF ILLUSION rose 40% in total viewership, over last week's episode. This is the best showing of the season for the magic series.

CW - 0.9 million viewers, 0.3 rating in A18-49
FOX - 2.0 million viewers, 0.6 rating in A18-49
NBC - 4.2 million viewers, 0.9 rating in A18-49
