  • AMC buys into other network
  • Another HOUSEWIVES location
  • WWE NEtwork falls short

AMC looking to buy into ownership on other cable network:
The rumor has AMC Networks buying almost 50% ownership in BBC America. The deal would put the BBC in a slight majority over AMC, but would allow the network to take advantage of AMC's leverage in the industry.



Bravo adds another HOUSEWIVES group:
Bravo has acquired the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MELBOURNE to add to the familiar franchise. The series will follow women from the Australian city, much like they do in Orange County, New York, Miami, Atlanta and New Jersey. The series will premiere this Sunday night.



WWE Network falls short:
The WWE reported it only has 700,000 subscribers for it's online network, about half of what it needs to off-set the lost revenue from PPV event fees. The network only added 33,000 subscribers, during the second quarter, which ended in June.



SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS 2: The Movie:
The trailer has been released of the second SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS movie, in 3D, due to be released in February, 2015.
