Final Broadcast Ratings: July 18, 2014

CBS and ABC split the Friday night ratings. CBS, with it's older drawing crime dramas, collected the most viewers, with five million. ABC edged NBC for the top spot of the A18-49 ratings, as 20/20 out performed DATELINE, in the demographic ratings.

NBC and ABC were the only two networks with original shows, combining for a total of just five hours on the night. ABC has a more balanced attack, while NBC when from one extreme to the other.

The CW's new comedy SEED got more viewers in it's encore, than it did with it's original series premiere, four days earlier. Neither night was anything close to be a strong number. but, perhaps between the two nights, it can find a relatively respectable number.
