Amazon gets HBO Library for streaming. AOL to stream Miramax films. And, USA announces premiere dates. This and much more in Wednesday's TV News Roundup!

Amazon Prime adds HBO Series to Library:
HBO has made a multi-year deal with Amazon Prime Instant Video service to add several catalog series to the streaming service's library, including THE SOPRANOS, DEADWOOD and THE WIRE. [LINK]



AOL Gets Miramax Movies:
In a non-exclusive deal, AOL will begin streaming movies from the studio, on a rotating basis. Beginning April 30th, "tens" of movies will be available, but a set list of films has not been released. Miramax has such films as PULP FICTION, CLERKS and TRAINSPOTTING available to AOL.



THIS IS NOT HAPPENING goes from Digital to Cable:
Comedy Central is picking up the web digital series THIS IS NOT HAPPENING as a full cable series. The 8 episode first season will premiere this fall.




USA Summer Premiere Dates:
USA has released the premiere dates and times for it's 2014 summer series.

JUNE 10: Royal Pains (9pm)

JUNE 11: Suits (9pm)
JUNE 11: Graceland (10pm) 

JUNE 24: Covert Affairs (10pm)

JULY 17: Rush (9pm)
JULY 17: Satisfaction (10pm)



FOX NOW available for Xfinity Customers:
FOX networks Roku app FOX NOW has long been missing customers of Comcast/Xfinity, until today. Now, you can authenticate your Xfinity cable subscription with the FOX NOW app and watch your favorite FOX shows via a Roku streaming device.



BEST WEEK EVER Axed:
Once again, VH1 has cancelled the comedy roundup series BEST WEEK EVER. The series was brought back in January of 2013, after being cancelled, originally, in 2010.



DISH looking at OTT service:
Dish is planning a summer launch for its Over The Top internet vifeo service. It akready has Disney and A&E networks, plus has seen CBS and TBS about joining. Dish is targeting a $20 - $30 sub price for the service
