Ratings: Broadcast Finals for May 4, 2013

Just a single program on the night had the ability to draw a 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49. 48 HOURS was that show. it was also the most watched program on the night with 5.7 million viewers. At this point, CBS needs to let 48 HOURS expand to a two hour program for every Saturday night. Reruns are dead, on broadcast TV, and Saturday night is a mostly dead not for TV.

SMASH had a bump up from last week. With 2.3 million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, it was up 25% in the demo and 20% in total viewers. It is still one of the lowest rated programs of the week, but it did beat BET ON YOUR BABAY.

BET ON YOU BABY was flat in viewership, but lost 33% in the A18-49 ratings, from the previous week. I was the night's lowest rated original program.

Closing out it's 25th and final season on FOX with just 3 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating. After this season, SPIKE TV will pick up the series for its 26th season, starting this fall.
