Ratings: Broadcast Finals for July 10, 2012

Although AMERICA'S GOT TALENT finshed second, it gave the MLB All-Star game a run for its money, on Tuesday night.

The MLB All-Star Game grabbed 10.9 million viewers for the instant rout by the NL over the AL. Most casual viewers probabaly saw the score and switched the channel before 8:30pm, ET.

Is it me or does it seem that AMERICA'S GOT TALENT is on every night of the week? Its a wonder the ratings have not completely dropped off because of the over saturation of this season. But, it did manage to attract 10.69 million viewers.

Looking at the Network averages, NBC and FOX did well with their original programming, but ABC is taking a big hit with its failing summer originals. Its numbers are no better than CBS' numbers with repeat programming.
